CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 91-55 <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF PT~ASANTON <br /> AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 77-66, CONCERNING <br /> ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT GUIDELINESAND PROCEDURES <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Pleasanton has adopted <br /> Resolution No. 77-66, adopting Guidelines and processing <br /> Procedures for the evaluation of projects and preparation <br /> of environmental impact reports by the City of <br /> Pleasanton, pursuant to the California Environmental <br /> Quality Act of 1970, as amended; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on April 2, 1991, City Council considered revisions to <br /> these Guidelines and Procedures; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Resolution No. 77-66 is hereby amended by amending <br /> Section 5.7 of the City's Environmental Impact Guidelines <br /> and Procedures, to read as follows: <br /> <br /> "Sec. 5.7 EIR Preparation. When an agency decides that an <br /> EIR will be required for a project, it shall follow <br /> the procedures contained in this section. <br /> <br /> (Subsections (a) and (b), no change.) <br /> <br /> (c) Public Review <br /> (Paragraph (1), no change.) <br /> <br /> (2) The draft EIR shall be filed with the <br /> Director of Planning and shall be <br /> available for review by the general <br /> public. The notice to affected agencies <br /> shall indicate that written comments must <br /> be submitted to the Director of Planning <br /> within 45 days of posting in order for <br /> the comments to be evaluated in the <br /> preparation of the Final EIR. The notice <br /> to the public shall indicate that written <br /> comments must be submitted to the <br /> Director of Planning within 45 days of <br /> posting in order for the comments to be <br /> evaluated in the preparation of the final <br /> EIR.
