ASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 91-47 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING SETT~.~m~m~T OF LEE AND <br /> WTT.Ta~ MARTIN V. CITY OF PT.F. ASANTON <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, there is now pending in the Municipal Court of Alameda <br /> County the matter of Lee and Willa Martin v. City of <br /> Pleasanton, et al., case No. 487430, which action seeks <br /> damages for personal injuries stemming from an automobile <br /> accident involving a car driven by a city employee; and <br /> <br />'WHEREAS, the plaintiffs have agreed to dismiss their action with <br /> prejudice and to release the City from all claims for <br /> damages in exchange for a total settlement of $18,500. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br /> AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> Section 1: The City Council authorizes settlement of the above- <br /> entitled matter in the amount of $18,500. <br /> <br /> Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> I HEREBY CERTIFY THAT THE FOREGOING WAS DULY AND <br /> REGULARLY ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON, AT <br /> A MEETING HELD ON APRIL 2, 1991 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br /> AYES: Councilmembers - Butler, Mohr, Scribner, Tarver, and <br /> Mayor Mercer <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: None <br /> ABSTAIN: None <br /> ATTEST: <br /> <br /> P~ggy~ d~dro ,Ctity Clerk <br /> <br /> Michael H.
