CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PT~ASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 91-43 RESOLUTION AMRNDING RESOLUTION NO. 77-123 (ESTABLISHING FEES AND CHARGES FOR VARIOUS MUNICIPAL SERViCES OF TwR CITY OF PT~ASANTON) TO PROVIDE FOR A 20% DISCOUNT IN WATER RATES FOR TKE PT~ASANTONUNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton provides a variety of municipal services for which fees and charges have been established and compiled in Resolution NO. 77-123; and WHEREAS, at its meeting of March 5, 1991, the City Council raised the water rates for all water users within Pleasanton, which action had the effect of increasing the water rates applicable to the Pleasanton Unified School District by 40%; and WHEREAS, the City Council finds that that percentage rate increase would adversely impact the School District; and WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton is desirous of supporting the Pleasanton Unified School District and minimizing the adverse fiscal impact to its budget. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PT~ASANTONRESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: Section VI of Resolution No. 77-123 is hereby amended to provide a 20% reduction in the water rates and charges to the Pleasanton Unified School District as set forth on Exhibit A, attached hereto and incorporated herein by this reference. Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption.
