2. For any claims related to this project, the Consultant's insurance coverage shall be primary insurance as respects the City of Livermore, City of Pleasanton, and their respective officers, officials, employees and designated volunteers. Any insurance or self-insurance maintained by the City of Livermore, City or Pleasanton, or their respective officers, officials, employees or designated volunteers shall be excess of the Consultant's insurance and shall not contribute with it. 3. Any failure to comply with reporting or other provisions of the policy including breaqhes of warranties shall not affect coverage provided to the City of Livermore, City of Pleasanton, and their respective officers, officials, employees or designated volunteers. 4. The Consultant's insurance shall apply separately to each insured against whom claim is made or suit is brought, except with respect to the limits of the insurer's liability. 5. Each insurance policy required by this clause shall be endorsed to state that coverage shall not be canceled by either party, except after thirty (30) days' prior written notice by certified mail, return receipt requested, has been given to the City of Livermore and the City of Pleasanton Acceotability of Insurers Insurance is to be placed with insurers with a current A.M. Best's rating of no less than A: VII, unless otherwise acceptable to the City of Livermore. Verification of Coveraae Consultant shall furnish the City of Livermore certificates of insurance and endorsement(s) effecting coverage to the City of Livermore for approval. The endorsements shall be on forms acceptable to the City of Livermore. All certificates and endorsements are to be received and approved by the City of Livermore before work commences. The City of Livermore reserves the right to require complete, certified copies of all insurance policies required by this section. '-~.'
