CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 91-39 RESOLUTION AMENDING TFFE. LAND USE DESIGNATION OF THE GENERAL PLAN AS FIY~D UNDER CASE GP-91-1 WHEREAS, Joseph Madden has applied to amend the Land Use Element designation of the General Plan from "Commercial and Offices" to "High Density Residential" on an approximately six acre site; and WHEREAS, the property is located on the north side of Stanley Boulevard approximately midway between Rachael Place and Valley Avenue on the south side of the Western Pacific Railroad right-of-way; and WHEREAS, Council received the Planning Commission's recommendations for approval of the proposed General Plan Amendment; and WHEREAS, the City CQuncil determined that a Negative Declaration was appropriate for the proposed General Plan Amendment and adopted Resolution No. 91-38 approving the Negative Declaration; and WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held on March 19, 1991 with respect to the General. Plan Amendment at which time any member of the public was afforded the opportunity to address the City Council on said amendment; and WHEREAS, the City Council desires to make changes to the Land Use Element of the General Plan at this time as one of the four times during the calendar year such changes may be made; and WHEREAS, the City Council finds that this proposed General Plan amendment is consistent with the goals and policies of the General Plan. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: The City Council determines that this is one of the four times in 1991 that the Land Use Element of the General Plan may be amended as authorized by Government Code Section 65631.
