CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 91-38 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION <br /> FOR THE APPLICATION OF JOSEPH MADDEN FOR A <br /> GENERAL PLAN AMM~'DMMNT AS FILED UNDER CASE <br /> GP-91-1 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of March 19, 1991, the City Council <br /> received a proposed negative declaration for the <br /> application of Joseph Madden, for an amendment to the <br /> Land Use Element designation of the General Plan for <br /> approximately five acres located generally on the north <br /> side of Stanley Boulevard, approximately midway between <br /> Rachael Place and Valley Avenue on the south side of the <br /> Western Pacific Railroad right-of-way, changing the <br /> designation from "Commercial and Offices" to "High <br /> Density Residential"; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has received and reviewed the Initial <br /> Study dated January 17, 1991 and received the <br /> recommendations of the staff and Planning Commission; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held at which time the <br /> public was given the opportunity to comment on the <br /> environmental impacts of the proposed General Plan <br /> Amendment; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the potential impacts in <br /> accordance with the applicable state and localguidelines <br /> governing the preparation of Negative Declarations and <br /> Environmental Impact Reports; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the proposed General Plan <br /> Amendment would not have any significant adverse effects <br /> on the environment; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTONRESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> <br />
