CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 91-35 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE FILING OF A CLAIM <br /> WITH THE METROPOLITAN TRANSPORTATION <br /> COMMISSION FOR ~T~OCATION OF TRANSPORTATION <br /> DEVELOPMENT ACT FUNDS AND WITHALAMEDA COUNTY <br /> FOR MEASURE B FUNDS FOR FISCAL YEAR 1991-92 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Transportation Development Act (TDA), as amended <br /> (Public Utilities Code, Sections 99200 et seq.), provides <br /> for the disbursement of funds from the local <br /> Transportation Fund of the County of Alameda for use by <br /> eligible claimants for the purpose of community transit <br /> services of Pleasanton residents; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of the TDA, as amended and <br /> pursuant to the applicable rules and regulations <br /> thereunder (21 California Administrative Code, Sections <br /> 6600 et seq.) a prospective claimant wishing to receive <br /> an allocation from the local Transportation Fund shall <br /> file its claim with the Metropolitan Transportation <br /> Commission; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the claim proposes to continue an existing program <br /> utilizing existing equipment, manpower, and routes and <br /> proposes minor additions of service and is therefore <br /> considered exempt from the requirement of the California <br /> Environmental Quality Act; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, TDA funds from the local Transportation Fund of Alameda <br /> County and Measure B funds will be required by claimant <br /> in Fiscal Year 1991-92 for community transit services; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTONRESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Dolores Bengtson, Director of Parks and Community <br /> Services is authorized to execute and file an appropriate <br /> claim pursuant to the terms of the Transportation <br /> DevelOpment Act, as amended, and pursuant to applicable <br /> rules and regulations promulgated thereunder, together <br /> with all necessary supporting documents, with the <br /> Metropolitan Transportation Commission and the Alameda <br /> County Board of Supervisors for an allocation of TDA and <br /> Measure B funds in Fiscal Year 1991-92. <br /> <br /> <br />
