CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 91-34 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING MEMORANDUM OF <br /> UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN THE CITY OF PT~ASANTON <br /> AND PT~ASANTON POLICE OFFICERS' ASSOCIATION, <br /> AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE <br /> MOU, AND AMRNDING THE 1990-91 BIIDGET <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton, acting through the City Manager <br /> as employer representative of the City Council, and <br /> representatives of the Pleasanton Police Officers' <br /> Association have met and conferred pursuant to the <br /> provisions of Section 3500, et seq., of the Government <br /> Code in regard to wages, hours, and other terms and <br /> conditions of employment for members of the Pleasanton <br /> Police Officers' Association; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, as a result of the above meeting and conferring process, <br /> a Memorandum of Understanding dated March 7, 1991 was <br /> entered into between the City Manager and representatives <br /> of the Pleasanton Police Officers' Association; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said Memorandum of Understanding was presented to the <br /> City Council at its meeting of March 7, 1991; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The Memorandum of Understanding entered into <br /> between the City Manager and representatives of the <br /> Pleasanton Police Officers' Association, for a term <br /> commencing March 1, 1991 through March 30, 1994, attached <br /> hereto, is accepted by the City Council of the City of <br /> Pleasanton, subject to the terms and conditions contained <br /> in the Memorandum of Understanding. <br /> <br />Section 2: The employees' class titles and salary ranges to be <br /> paid by the City of Pleasanton to all employees in the <br /> Pleasanton Police Officers' Association during the period <br /> March 1, 1991 through March 30, 1994 shall be set forth <br /> in the Memorandum of Understanding, attached hereto as <br /> Exhibit A and incorporated herein by reference. <br /> <br /> Section 3: The budget of the City of Pleasanton for fiscal year <br /> 1990-91 is hereby amended to reflect those changes <br /> enumerated in Exhibit A. <br /> <br /> Section 4: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
