CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 91-30 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION ADOPTING ADMINISTRATIVE POLICY <br /> REGARDING WATER RATES AND CHARGES <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of March 5, 1991, the City Council <br /> reviewed the report of the Director of Finance (SR 91:75) <br /> regarding adjustments of rates for public utilities and <br /> policies for water utility funds; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council recognizes the importance of sound <br /> financial management of its water system utility and the <br /> need to establish goals and policies; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Authorizes the Director of Finance to temporarily <br /> advance funds to the Water M & 0 Fund to meet cash flow <br /> requirements. <br /> <br />Section 2: Authorizes the Director of Finance to create a separate <br /> Water Capital Replacement Fund and to retitle the <br /> existing Water Capital Improvement Fund to the Water <br /> Expansion Fund. <br /> <br />Section 3: Adopts the Administrative Policy statement regarding <br /> Water Rates and Charges as set forth in Exhibit A, <br /> attached hereto and incorporated herein by this <br /> reference. <br /> <br />Section 4: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
