AMADOR THEATER FEE POLICY The goals of this fee policy for Amador Theater are to: 1. Facilitate public use of the facility as exemplified by: A. 60 days free use by the Pleasanton Unified School District; B. Programming of the facility by the Civic Arts Program of the Department of Parks and Community Services; and C. Other nonrevenue generating uses by the City for community gatherings and events. 2. Support local, cosponsored arts groups by allowing their priority use of the facility at the most reasonable rental rates possible. 3. Further enhance the cultural life of the community by attracting other performing arts companies and artists of regional and national significance to use the facility at reasonable rates. In order to achieve these goals, the fee structure for Amador Theater will be based upon the following objectives. 1. Dedicate and book at least 150 days to revenue-generating uses and activities. 2. Structure the overall fee schedule to recover, on average, at least 50% of the direct operating costs associated with all revenue generating days. 3. Structure the overall fee schedule to recover, on average, at least 20% of the total yearly direct operating expenses of the theater. 4. Achieve Objectives 2 and 3 by implementing a sliding fee scale based upon the following minimum expectations: A. Cosponsored Groups - · Lowest rate of recovery · 44% average recovery of daily operating expense · 13% average recovery of total annual operating expense B. Non-Cosponsored Local Groups and Citizens - · Low rate of recovery · 50% Average recovery of daily operating expense · 0-1% Average recovery of total annual operating expense C. Nonlocal, Nonprofit Arts Organizations · Higher rate of recovery · 65% Average recovery of daily operating expense · 7% Average recovery of total annual operating expense SR 91:67 10
