CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 91-23 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING FOOTHILL ROADALIGNMENT - <br /> STONERIDGE DRIVE TO BERNAL AVENUE <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of February 19, 1991, the City Council <br /> reviewed the report of the Director of Planning and <br /> Community Development (SR 91:52) regarding the studies on <br /> the proposed alignment of Foothill Road between <br /> Stoneridge Drive and Bernal Avenue; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held at which time <br /> interested parties were given an opportunity to present <br /> testimony and documents regarding the proposed alignment; <br /> and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the proposed alignment conforms to the Circulation <br /> Element of the General Plan with regard to goals and <br /> policies relevant to the design of Foothill Road; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, an Environmental Impact Report was prepared for the <br /> General Plan which covered the Foothill Road lane <br /> configuration and general alignment and no additional <br /> environmental review is necessary at this time; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The City Council adopts the alignment and cross- <br /> sections of Foothill Road as follows: <br /> <br /> (a) the alignment and cross-sections as shown on the <br /> attached cross-section exhibit and alignment plan <br /> as follows: <br /> <br /> (1) Stoneridge Drive to Muirwood Drive North: <br /> right-of-way - General Plan Option four- <br /> lane alignment/section <br /> cross-section - Interim Option A (three- <br /> lanes, permanent median location) <br /> <br /> (.2) Muirwood Drive North to Highland Oaks Drive: <br /> right-of-way - General Plan Option four- <br /> lane alignment/section <br /> cross-section - transition from Interim <br /> Option A (three-lanes) to interim <br /> two-lanes (no median) at Kliment <br /> property, then transition back to <br /> Interim Option A (three-lanes) <br /> <br /> <br />
