estimated grant revenues of $770,000, staff is recommending that we <br />do only $1.3 million in projects. Staff is recommending that the <br />remaining $700,000 in projects be resubmitted and evaluated in the <br />upcoming 5-year CIP. <br /> <br />Attachment C outlines the recommended changes to the 1990-91 Parks <br />CIP. <br /> <br />The most significant projects (dollar-wise) that staff is <br />recommending not be done in 1990-91 are the Aquatics Center <br />Bathhouse, the renovation of Fairlands Park, and the retrofitting <br />of lights at the Pleasanton School Upper Field. <br /> <br />WATER ClP <br /> <br />Water connections fees are the primary source of revenue to this <br />fund. In 1989-90, connection fees were projected to be $348,000. <br />Actual revenue was only $215,000. In 1990-91, original connection <br />fee projections were $438,000. Through December 1990, we have only <br />received $82,000. Staff now projects this year's total connection <br />fee revenue to be only $143,500. <br /> <br />Attachment D outlines the recommended changes in the 1990-91 Water <br />CIP. <br /> <br />Staff is recommending that the Pleasanton Avenue Water Main <br />Replacement project be removed from 1990-91, since it must be <br />coordinated with the street and sewer portions of the work which <br />are planned in 1991-92. All other recommended changes are minor. <br /> <br />MISCELLi~NEOUS CIP <br /> <br />Development fees are the primary source of revenue to this fund. <br />They include the Capital Improvement Fee, the Residential <br />Construction Fee, and the Growth Management Fee. In 1989-90, these <br />fees were projected to be $1.3 million. Actual Revenue was only <br />$847,000. In 1990-91, original fee projections were $1.2 million. <br />Through December 1990, we have only received $44,500.
