CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 91-11 <br /> <br /> RESOI/3TION ADDING AGENDA ITEM REGARDING DAY TO <br /> HONOR PT~ASANTON MILITARY PERSONNEL IN THE <br /> PERSIAN GULF <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Brown Act permits the Council to add an item to the <br /> agenda upon a two-thirds vote of the Council; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at the City Council meeting of January 22, 1991, Mayor <br /> Mercer requested Council to declare Sunday, January 27, <br /> 1991, as a day to honor military personnel from <br /> Pleasanton who are serving in the Persian Gulf; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Council finds and declares that this item arose after <br /> the posting of the agenda for this meeting; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Based on the findings set forth above, a resolution <br /> to declare January 27, 1991 as a day to honor our troops <br /> in the Persian Gulf is added to the agenda for <br /> January 22, 1991 for Council consideration and action. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> I HEREBY CERTIFY THAT THE FOREGOING WAS DULY AND <br />REGULARLY ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON, AT <br />A MEETING HELD ON JANUARY 22, 1991 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br /> , Ta e ~ <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Butler Mohr, Scribner, rv r and <br /> Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br /> Peg~LL/E~idr~ City Clerk <br /> <br />Michael H.
