CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, ALAMEDA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 99-096 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING ANNEXATION 1999-1, <br /> CONFIRMING THE ENGINEER'S REPORT AND LEVYING <br /> THE 1999-00 ASSESSMENT FOR LIGHTING AND <br /> LANDSCAPE DISTICT 1994-1 (OAK TREE FARM) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held before the City Council on July 6, 1999 for <br /> the Council to consider testimony in favor and against the annexation of Oak Tree <br /> Farm Phase II (a 16 unit subdivision) to the existing Lighting and Landscape <br /> District 1994-1; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, votes were received from property owners of Oak Tree Farm Phase II and a <br /> majority vote cast were in favor of annexation; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Engineer's Report for Annexation 1999-1 provides that the special benefit <br /> received by each property within the Lighting and Landscape District totals <br /> $480.35; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, such sum supersedes the amount levied against the parcels in Oak Tree Farm <br /> Phase I pursuant to City Council Resolution No. 99-084 on June 15, 1999. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The City Council approves the annexation of Oak Tree Farm Phase II to the <br /> existing Lighting and Landscape District 1994-1. <br /> <br />Section 2: The City Council approves the Engineer's Report for Annexation 1999-1, a copy <br /> of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by this reference. <br /> <br />Section 3: The City Council hereby levies the 1999-00 annual assessments in connection <br /> with Landscape and Lighting Assessment District No. 1994-1 (Oak Tree Farm), <br /> including Annexation 1999-1 as descried in the Engineer's Report. <br /> <br />Section 4: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
