CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 92-35 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION CERTIFYING THE ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT <br /> REPORT PREPARED FOR THE CITY OF PT~ASANTON <br /> REGARDING THE NORTH SYCAMORE AREA, AS FIleD <br /> UNDER CASE GP-91-7/SP-88-6 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton has applied for a General Plan <br /> Amendment and a Specific Plan for the "North Sycamore <br /> Area", a 135-acre site located generally north of <br /> Sycamore Road, east of Sunol Boulevard, and south of the <br /> Mission Park and Ventana Hills neighborhoods; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Pleasanton provided <br /> proper public notice of completion of the Draft <br /> Environmental Impact Report for the proposed project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton has responded to comments received <br /> on the Draft Environmental Impact Report; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton has provided proper public notice <br /> of completion of the Final Environmental Impact Report <br /> for the proposal; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Pleasanton met on <br /> February 4, 1992 and held a public hearing upon the <br /> completeness and adequacy of the Final Environmental <br /> Impact Report in disclosing relevant environmental issues <br /> if the proposed project were to be adopted. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The City Council finds, after having reviewed and <br /> considered the material in the Final Environmental Impact <br /> Report, that the Final Environmental Impact Report <br /> prepared is complete, sufficient, and acceptable for the <br /> project proposed. <br /> <br />Section 2: The City Council finds that the Environmental Impact <br /> Report for the proposed project has been completed in <br /> compliance with the California Environmental Quality Act, <br /> and state and city Guidelines. <br /> <br /> <br />
