<br />WHEREAS, at the City Council meeting on July 18, 2006, the City Council declared that the <br />abatement costs are a special assessment and lien imposed on the properties requiring <br />abatement; and <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: <br /> <br />Section 2: <br /> <br />Section 3: <br /> <br />The City Council approves the Cost Accounting Report for the 2006 Weed Abatement <br />Program, attached hereto as Exhibit A. <br /> <br />The costs of weed abatement for the 2006 Weed Abatement Program, including the <br />administrative costs, as provided in the Cost Accounting Report shall constitute a special <br />assessment and a lien upon the parcels upon which weeds were abated and shall be added <br />by the Treasurer-Tax Collector to the next regular tax bill for the parcels. <br /> <br />This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />I HEREBY CERTIFY THAT THE FOREGOING WAS DULY AND REGULARLY <br />ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON, AT A MEETING HELD <br />ON JULY 18,2006 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: <br />NOES: <br />ABSENT: <br />ABSTAIN: <br /> <br />Councilmembers: Brozosky, Sullivan, Thorne, Mayor Hosterman <br />None <br />Councilmember McGovern <br />None <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br /> <br />APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br /> <br />~{~~ <br /> <br />Michael H.
