CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 06-052 FY 2005-06 MID-YEAR REPORT AND FY 2006-07 MID-TERM BUDGET AND CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM WHEREAS, in June 2005, the City Council adopted a two-year Operating Budget and Capital Improvement Program for fiscal years 2005-06 and 2006-07; and WHEREAS, each quarter a report of financial condition is presented to Council which includes any staff recommendations for budget amendments or actions needed; and WHEREAS, staff presented to Council such a report (SR06:153) for the second quarter of the fiscal year ending June 30, 2006, and WHEREAS, the second quarter marks the midyear point, and WHEREAS, staff has prepared a mid-term budget update which includes recommended amendments to the second year of the already adopted Operating and CIP budgets; and WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on June 20, 2006, and staff presented a report (SR06:153) regarding the recommended amendments; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: Council amends the FY 2005-06 Operating Budget and Capital Improvement Program Budget as detailed in the 2005-0612006-07 Mid-Term and Capital Improvement Program Budget document Section 2: Council adopts the FY 2006-07 Mid-Term Budget and Capital Improvement Program Budget amendments. Section 3: Council adopts the FY 2006-07 Community Development Block Grant Program as set forth in Attachment B of the Mid-Term Budget. Section 4: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption.
