CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 92-16 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING PT~ASANTON'S HOUSEHOLD <br /> HAZARDOUS WASTE ELEMENT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Household Hazardous Waste Element is intended to <br /> provide comprehensive and long-termguidance to household <br /> hazardous waste reduction and diversion; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Household Hazardous Waste Element will assist the <br /> City of Pleasanton to make a good faith effort to meet <br /> regional and statewide waste diversion goals; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Pleasanton conducted two <br /> public hearings regarding the Household Hazardous Waste <br /> Element and gave proper notification of these hearings; <br /> and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a Mitigated Negative Declaration has been prepared and <br /> the California Environmental Quality Act requirements <br /> have been met; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The City Council hereby adopts the Household Hazardous <br /> Waste Element, a copy of which is attached hereto and <br /> incorporated herein by this reference. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> I HEREBY CERTIFY THAT THE FOREGOING WAS DULY AND <br />REGULARLY ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON, AT <br />A MEETING HELD ON JANUARY 7, 1992 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Butler, Mohr, Scribner, Tarver, and <br /> Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br /> Peg~JLU ~zid~o, City Clerk <br />APPROVED AS~ <br />Michael H.
