CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 92-15 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING PT~ASANTON'S SOURCE <br /> REDUCTION AND RECYCLING EI.RMRNT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Source Reduction and Recycling Element is intended to <br /> provide comprehensive and long-term guidance to waste <br /> reduction and diversion; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Source Reduction and Recycling Element will assist <br /> the City of Pleasanton to make a good faith effort to <br /> meet regional and statewide waste diversion goals; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Pleasanton conducted two <br /> public hearings regarding the Source Reduction and <br /> Recycling Element and made proper notification of these <br /> hearings; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a Mitigated Negative Declaration has been prepared and <br /> the California Environmental Quality Act requirements <br /> have been met; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The City Council hereby adopts the Source Reduction <br /> and Recycling Element, a copy of which is attached hereto <br /> and incorporated herein by this reference. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> I HEREBY CERTIFY THAT THE FOREGOING WAS DULY AND <br />REGULARLY ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON, AT <br />A MEETING HELD ON JANUARY 7, 1992 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Butler, Mohr, Scribner, Tarver, and <br /> Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br />APPROVED AS · <br /> <br />Michael H.
