<br /> <br />- . <br /> <br />pLEASANTONo <br /> <br /> <br />City Council <br />Staff Report <br /> <br />July 18, 2006 <br />Public Works Department <br /> <br />SUBJECT: <br /> <br />ANNUAL ASSESSMENTS FOR THE GEOLOGIC HAZARD <br />ABATEMENT DISTRICT (GHAD) FOR OAK TREE FARM, <br />MOLLER RANCH, LAUREL CREEK ESTATES (THE PRESERVE, <br />OAK IDLL ESTATES, AND KOLB RANCH ESTATES), AND <br />LEMOINE RANCH ESTATES, TRACT 7176 <br /> <br />STAFF RECOMMENDATION: <br /> <br />Staff recommends that the City Council take the following action at the <br />meeting of July 18, 2006: <br /> <br />1. Convene as the Board of Directors for the Oak Tree Farm, Moller <br />Ranch, Laurel Creek Estates (The Preserve, Oak Hill Estates and <br />Kolb Ranch Estates) and Lemoine Ranch Estates Geologic Hazard <br />Abatement Districts. <br /> <br />2. Open and hold a Public Hearing to receive comments regarding the <br />levy of annual assessments for each of the Geologic Hazard <br />Abatement Districts. <br /> <br />3. Adopt a resolution confirming the assessments and order that the <br />amount of the assessments be levied against each parcel of property <br />within each district that is benefited thereby. <br /> <br />4. Direct the Clerk of the District to record a notice of assessments. <br /> <br />5. Appropriate $239 from the Sewer Fund, and $719 from the Water <br />Fund to the respective Geologic Hazard Abatement Districts to pay <br />City assessments. <br /> <br />SR:06: 189 <br />Page I of37 <br />
