<br />responsibility. To date, the contractor has performed all of the specified maintenance work in <br />a satisfactory manner. The City has chosen to extend the contract for an additional year as <br />provided under their contract. The contract amount will be increased by 5 % in accordance <br />with the Construction Cost Index to $8,668.80. This increase in cost of annual maintenance <br />will not affect the annual assessment. <br /> <br />Landscape and Lighting District 1993-1, Windsor <br /> <br />Maintenance in this District includes masonry walls, trees, shrubbery, groundcover, and <br />irrigation systems situated on the northeast side of Tapestry Way and Minton Court, Lot A in <br />the northwest corner of the subdivision, and also Lot C in the southwest corner of the <br />subdivision. The assessment for the corning year for District 1993-1 (Windsor) will be the <br />same as last year, $269.62 per parcel per year. With a total of 90 parcels in the District, this <br />year's total assessment will be $24,265.80. This amount will be sufficient to fund the <br />maintenance of all common areas including water and electrical costs, County assessment fees, <br />City administration fees and sets aside in a replacement fund sufficient reserves for the long- <br />term replacement of plantings, irrigation systems, fencing, masonry walls, signage and other <br />District improvements. <br /> <br />The City bid the District maintenance project in June 2005, and received three (3) bids. The <br />low responsive bidder was Del Conte's Landscaping, Inc. of Fremont, with a bid of $13,200 <br />for the annual maintenance of the District. To date, the contractor has performed all of the <br />specified maintenance work in a satisfactory manner. The City has chosen to extend the <br />contract for an additional year as provided under their contract. The contract amount will be <br />increased by 5% in accordance with the Construction Cost Index to $13,860.00. This increase <br />in cost of annual maintenance will not affect the annual assessment. <br /> <br />Landscape and Lighting District 1993-2, Bonde Ranch <br /> <br />Maintenance in this District includes entry features, open space areas, fIrebreaks, trees, <br />shrubbery, groundcover and irrigation systems. The assessment for the coming year for <br />District 1993-2 (Bonde Ranch) will remain at $257.22 per parcel per year. With a total of 103 <br />parcels in the District (one of these a City-owned parcel, the Bonde Ranch water tank), this <br />year's total assessment will be $26,489. This amount will be sufficient to fund the <br />maintenance of all common areas including water and electrical costs, County assessment fees, <br />City administration fees and sets aside in a replacement fund sufficient reserves for the long- <br />term replacement of plantings, irrigation systems, fencing, and other District improvements. <br /> <br />The City bid the District maintenance project in June 2005, and received three (3) bids.
