<br />A) has been planned pursuant to the Bernal Community Park Master Plan, <br />adopted by the City in May 2006 after an extensive public participation <br />process involving the Bernal Community Park Task Force, Youth Master <br />Plan Implementation Committee, Civic Arts Commission, Youth <br />Commission, Parks and Recreation Commission, Planning Commission and <br />City Council. The Fire Station and Community Park are Phase I community <br />facilities that have been developed pursuant to the Bernal Property (Phase I) <br />Specific Plan, are not the subject of this Initiative; the Community Park may <br />proceed with development without regard to this Initiative. Furthermore, <br />the school site was purchased and is owned by the Pleasanton Unified <br />School District and also is not the subject of this Initiative. <br /> <br />Section 3. ADDroval of Phase II Land Uses bv Sub-area <br /> <br />A. The Phase II area has been divided into sixteen sub-areas, as shown in <br />Exhibit A. Each sub-area has a designated set of Potentially Permitted Land <br />Uses, as follows: <br /> <br />I. Sub-area I - Cultural arts center with or without shared educational <br />facilities, agriculture, open space, park and recreation, public <br />utilities and trails; <br />2. Sub-area 2 - is the subject of a Community Park Master Plan as <br />described in Section 2.H., above, and which may proceed to <br />development without regard to this Initiative pursuant to the <br />Initiative to Save Our Community Park adopted by the City Council <br />by Resolution No. 04-056 on July 20, 2004; <br />3. Sub-Area 3 - Agriculture, open space, passive recreation facilities, <br />public utilities and trails; <br />4. Sub-area 4 - is already developed with a Fire Station as described in <br />Section 2.H., above; <br />5. Sub-Area 5 - Child care, open space, park and recreation, public <br />utilities, trails, and other public and quasi public uses that may be <br />determined to be compatible with the surrounding land uses by the <br />City Council; <br />6. Sub-area 6 - Agriculture, open space, passive recreation facilities, <br />public utilities, and trails; <br />7. Sub-area 7 - Agriculture club, agriculture, community vegetable <br />garden, open space, passive recreation facilities, public utilities, and <br />trails; <br />8. Sub-area 8 - is already developed with a school as described in <br />Section 2.H., above, and which is real property that has been <br />purchased and is owned by the Pleasanton Unified School District; <br />9.
