<br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 06-038 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPOINTING REPRESENTATIVES TO SERVE ON THE <br />HAPPY V ALLEY BLUE RIBBON COMMITTEE <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton' s City Council directed staff to assemble a Happy Valley Blue <br />Ribbon Committee to develop potential options for the Bypass Road alignment and <br />funding; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Committee is geographically representative of the area that includes Happy Valley <br />Road, Alisal Street, Westbridge Lane, Sycamore Road and Sycamore Creek Way, <br />including Laura Lane, Byrd Lane and Mockingbird Way East, by either street or area; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, in addition to Council-designated members Pat Costanzo from Greenbriar Homes and Al <br />Spotorno, the following have agreed to serve on the committee: Wes Felton, Jim Frietas, <br />Vanessa Kawaihau, Roger Manning, Bob Maund, Pete Richert, and Al Schorno; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has also asked for three representatives selected by Alameda County. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: <br /> <br />The City Council appoints the following to serve on the Happy Valley Blue Ribbon <br />Committee: <br /> <br />Pat Costanzo <br />Wes Felton <br />Jim Frietas <br />Vanessa Kawaihau <br />Roger Manning <br /> <br />Bob Maund <br />Pete Richert <br />Al Schorno <br />Al Spotorno <br /> <br />Section 2: <br /> <br />Alameda County will appoint its three representatives without further Council action. <br /> <br />Section 3: <br /> <br />The Committee is directed to develop potential alternative alignment options and funding <br />for the Bypass Road as currently described in the Happy Valley Specific Plan and to <br />bring those options to the City Council for further review. <br />
