Page 1 ofl

Marion Pavan

From: Maria Hoey
Sent: Wednesday, January 11, 200612:55 PM
To: Marion Pavan; Donna Decker; Michael Roush; Philip Grubstick
Subject: FW: Hatsushi Development Plan- ATT: Marion Pavon

----Original Message-----
:rom: Sharon Nowak [mailto:Sharon.Nowak@synopsys.com]
;ent: Wednesday, January 11, 2006 12:41 PM
fo: Maria Hoey
.ubject: Hatsushi Development Plan- ATT: Marion Pavon

\.ttention Marion Pavon

)ear Marion,

/ole have lived at our Montevino residence since 8/89. We understand the desire of the Hatsushi family to want to
levelop their property and earn the financial benefits of their property investment.

/ole would like to express our views/concerns on the Hatsushi Development Plan and ask the City Planning Group to
ake these items under serious consideration, as modifications to the proposed plan.

. We would like to preserve our view of the Livermore valley, as well as our property value, as much as possible.
As such, we would like the homes built on lots 12 and 13 be restricted to single story. This restriction was
applied to the Vintage II development as well as the current Beratlis project. An alternative would be to combine
lots 12 and 13 creating a large premium lot and requiring large setbacks from the existing properties.

. There has been a considerable amount of heavy construction on the Hatsushi property while engineering the land.
We anticipate that much more is to come. We would like to keep the noise, vibration, and dust to a minimum.
We have a quiet residential neighborhood and would like to minimize construction traffic. The proposed
emergence access road adjacent to the Lloyds property should not be open to construction traffic. In addition to
the noise, construction vehicles generally leave a mess on the roadway (primarily mud, dirt, and gravel). Since
access by large vehicles is already limited by the traffic abatement islands, construction traffic should not be
allowed on Montevino Drive.

~egards,
~d and Sharon Nowak
62 Montevino Drive

haron Nowak, Account Manager
ynopsys, Inc
H: 650.584.1379
AX: 650.584.4283
lOwak@synopsys.com

/21/2006
