Work to be Performed. The work will generally consist of: <br /> <br />The work will consist of removing the reinforce concrete roundabouts and <br />approach island, grinding of existing pavement, extending the roadway_surface, <br />signing and striping, and minor underground improvements on Vineyard Avenue <br />at the intersections of Thiessen Street. <br /> <br />Said work is more particularly shown in the following documents which are on <br />file with the Department of Public Works of the City and are incorporated herein <br />by this reference: <br /> <br />A. Plans and Specifications entitled the VINEYARD AVENUE <br />ROUNDABOUT REMOVAL, PROJECT NO. 055033 and <br />addenda thereto, if any. <br /> <br />B. Contract Change Orders approved by the City Engineer, done in <br />accordance with the Standard Specifications. <br /> <br />C. The proposal submitted to the City by the Contractor. <br /> <br />2. Comuensation. The City shall pay the Contractor for work actually performed at <br />the unit prices set out in the Contractor's proposal to the City. The quantities of <br />work stated therein are estimates only; actual quantities will be measured for <br />payment in accordance with the specifications. <br /> <br />Page 16 <br />
