<br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 06-044 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO ORDER IMPROVEMENTS, <br />LIGHTING AND LANDSCAPE ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 1993-1, <br />WINDSOR (pURSUANT TO THE LANDSCAPING AND LIGHTING ACT OF 1972) <br /> <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. <br /> <br />Section 2. <br /> <br />Section 3. <br /> <br />Section 4. <br /> <br />Section 5. <br /> <br />Section 6. <br /> <br />The City Council intends to levy and collect assessments within Lighting and Landscape <br />Assessment District No. 1993-1, Windsor during fiscal year 2006/07. The area of land <br />to be assessed is located in the City of Pleasanton, Alameda County. <br /> <br />The improvements to be made in this assessment district are generally described as <br />follows: <br /> <br />maintenance of the masonry walls, trees, shrubbery, groundcover, and irrigation systems <br />situated on the northeast side of Tapestry Way and Minton Court, Lot A in the northwest <br />comer of the subdivision and also Lot C in the southwest comer of the subdivision. <br /> <br />In accordance with this Council's resolution directing the filing of an annual report, Philip <br />A. Grubstick, Engineer of Work, has filed with the Deputy City Clerk the report required <br />by the Landscaping and Lighting Act of 1972. All interested persons are referred to that <br />report for a full and detailed description of the improvements, the boundaries of the <br />assessments upon assessable lots and parcels of land within the assessment district. <br /> <br />On Tuesday, the 18th day of July 2006, at the hour of 7:00 pm, the City Council will <br />conduct a public hearing on the question of the levy of the proposed annual assessment. <br />The hearing will be located in the City Council Chambers, 200 Old Bernal Avenue, <br />Pleasanton, Califomia. <br /> <br />The City Clerk is authorized and directed to give the notice of hearing required by the <br />Landscaping and Lighting Act of 1972. <br /> <br />This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br />
