<br /> <br />Section 1. <br /> <br />Section 2. <br /> <br />Section 3. <br /> <br />Section 4. <br /> <br />Section 5. <br /> <br />Section 6. <br /> <br />"_._0 <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 06-042 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO ORDER IMPROVEMENTS, <br />LANDSCAPE ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 1984-1 <br />(PURSUANT TO THE LANDSCAPING AND LIGHTING ACT OF 1972) <br /> <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />The City Council intends to levy and collect assessments within Landscape Assessment <br />District No. 1984-1 during fiscal year 2006/07. The area of land to be assessed is <br />located in the City of Pleasanton, Alameda County. <br /> <br />The improvements to be made in this assessment district are generally described as <br />follows: <br /> <br />Maintenance of a landscaped strip north of Corte de Flores on the west side of Paseo <br />Santa Cruz and north of Corte Pacifica on the east side of Paseo Santa Cruz. <br /> <br />In accordance with this Council's resolution directing the filing of an annual report, Philip <br />A. Grubstick, Engineer of Work, has filed with the Deputy City Clerk the report required <br />by the Landscaping and Lighting Act of 1972. All interested persons are referred to that <br />report for a full and detailed description of the improvements, the boundaries of the <br />assessments upon assessable lots and parcels of land within the assessment district. <br /> <br />On Tuesday, the 18th day of July 2006, at the hour of 7:00 pm, the City Council will <br />conduct a public hearing on the question of the levy of the proposed annual assessment. <br />The hearing will be located in the City Council Chambers, 200 Old Bernal Avenue, <br />Pleasanton, Califomia. <br /> <br />The Deputy City Clerk is authorized and directed to give the notice of hearing required <br />by the Landscaping and Lighting Act of 1972. <br /> <br />This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br />
