CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 99-075 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING THE MITIGATION <br /> MONITORING PROGRAM FOR THE VINEYARD AVENUE <br /> CORRIDOR SPECIFIC PLAN AND PUD REZONING (AND <br /> PUD PRE-ZONING FOR MINOR ANNEXATION) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton has considered a Specific Plan and PUD rezoning (including <br /> a pre-zoning for a 7-acre minor annexation) for the 384-acre Vineyard Avenue <br /> Corridor Specific Plan Area (collectively, "the Project"); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton provided proper legal notice of the availability of the Draft <br /> Environmental Impact Report CEIR"), accepted and responded to comments on <br /> the Draft EIR, and provided proper notice of completion of the Final EIR for the <br /> Project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held several noticed public hearings to receive public <br /> comments on the draft EIR and consider the Final EIR, CEQA findings, Statement <br /> of Overriding Considerations for the anticipated Project impacts, and EIR <br /> Mitigation Monitoring Program; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council held noticed public hearings on May 18, 1999 and on June 1, <br /> 1999 and considered the adequacy of the Final EIR, the CEQA findings, a <br /> Statement of Overriding Considerations, and the EIR Mitigation Monitoring <br /> Program. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves the EIR Mitigation Monitoring Program (attached as Exhibit A), <br /> prepared for the Vineyard Avenue Corridor Specific Plan and PUD rezoning and <br /> minor pre-zoning. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
