<br />Invitation to Bid on "As Needed Services" <br /> <br />approval and upon written request to adjust prospectively pricing that will apply during <br />that year. If requested, pricing will be adjusted by the percentage change of the C.P.I. <br />(Consumer Price Index) for the San Francisco/Oakland/San Jose area for the year <br />following the date of the City's issuance of a written Notice to Proceed for the Contract, <br />as evidence by the most recent C.P.I. figures available to the City. <br /> <br />The term of this Agreement is from Julv 1", 2006 to June 30'h, 2008. Upon written <br />agreement of both parties, the term of this Agreement may be extended for up to two (2) <br />additional one-year terms. <br /> <br />The selected Contractor will be required to execute the City's standard form contract <br />agreement upon successfully negotiating a final scope and fee proposal with the City. A <br />copy of said agreement is enclosed as attachment 1 for review. <br /> <br />The selected Contractor and its sub-contractors shall be required to submit certificates of <br />worker's compensation insurance and liability insurance in accordance with the <br />requirements of the standard contract agreement. <br /> <br />The selected Contractor and its sub-contractors shall each be required to obtain a City <br />business license. <br /> <br />Selection Procedures <br /> <br />It is the City's intention to qualify multiple contractors in each category to perform <br />potential as needed services. Selection shall be based on the most qualified firms in terms <br />of past experience and statement of references, as well as offering the most competitive <br />rates.
