<br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO ORDER IMPROVEMENTS, LANDSCAPE AND <br />LIGHTING ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 1994-1, OAK TREE FARM (PURSUANT TO <br />THE LANDSCAPING AND LIGHTING ACT OF 1972) <br /> <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. <br /> <br />Section 2. <br /> <br />Section 3. <br /> <br />Section 4. <br /> <br />Section 5. <br /> <br />Section 6. <br /> <br />The City Council intends to levy and collect assessments within Landscape and Lighting <br />Assessment District No. 1994-1, Oak Tree Farm during fiscal year 2006-07. The area ofland to <br />be assessed is located in the City of Pleasant on, Alameda County. <br /> <br />The improvements to be made in this assessment district are generally described as follows: <br /> <br />The maintenance and repair of designated landscaped areas, open space slopes, fuel transition <br />zones (fire breaks), entry features, open space drainage ditches, irrigation systems, trees in the <br />open space and designated landscaped areas, and the furnishing of water and power for irrigation <br />systems, together with all appurtenant and incidental expenses within Tract 6563 and 6748, and <br />parcels B and C of Parcel Map 6259, City of Pleasant on. <br /> <br />In accordance with this Council's resolution directing the filing of an annual report, Philip A. <br />Grubstick, Engineer of Work, has filed with the Deputy City Clerk the report required by the <br />Landscaping and Lighting Act of 1972. All interested persons are referred to that report for a <br />full and detailed description of the improvements, the boundaries of the assessments upon <br />assessable lots and parcels of land within the assessment district. <br /> <br />On Tuesday, the 18th day of July 2006, at the hour of7:00 pm, the City Council will conduct a <br />public hearing on the question of the levy of the proposed annual assessment. The hearing will <br />be located in the City Council Chambers, 200 Old Bernal Avenue, P1easanton, California. <br /> <br />The Deputy City Clerk is authorized and directed to give the notice of hearing required by the <br />Landscaping and Lighting Act of 1972. <br /> <br />This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />U:\L & L Districts, Staff Reports\SR 06 Attach 4.doc <br /> <br />7 <br />
