<br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br /> <br />BONDE RANCH LIGHTING AND LANDSCAPE MAINTENANCE DISTRICT <br />(Pursuant to Landscaping and Lighting Act of 1972) <br /> <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. <br /> <br />Section 2. <br /> <br />Section 3. <br /> <br />Section 4. <br /> <br />Section 5. <br /> <br />Section 6. <br /> <br />The City Council intends to levy and collect assessments within Lighting <br />and Landscape Assessment District No. 1993-2, Bonde Ranch during <br />fiscal year 2006-07. The area ofland to be assessed is located in the City <br />of Pleasant on, Alameda County. <br /> <br />The improvements to be made in this assessment district are generally <br />described as follows: <br /> <br />The maintenance and repair of street lighting, designated landscaped <br />areas, open space slopes, fuel transition zones (fire breaks), entry features, <br />open space drainage ditches, irrigation systems, trees in the open space <br />and designated landscape areas, and the furnishing of water and power for <br />irrigation systems, together with all appurtenant and incidental expenses <br />within Tract 6483 and Tract 6518, City of Pleasant on. <br /> <br />In accordance with this Council's resolution directing the filing of an <br />annual report, Philip A. Grubstick, Engineer of Work, has filed with the <br />Deputy City Clerk the report required by the Landscaping and Lighting <br />Act of 1972. All interested persons are referred to that report for a full and <br />detailed description of the improvements, the boundaries of the <br />assessments upon assessable lots and parcels of land within the assessment <br />district. <br /> <br />On Tuesday, the 18th day of July 2006, at the hour of 7:00 pm, the City <br />Council will conduct a public hearing on the question of the levy of the <br />proposed annual assessment. The hearing will be located in the City <br />Council Chambers, 200 Old Bernal Avenue, Pleasanton, California. <br /> <br />The Deputy City Clerk is authorized and directed to give the notice of <br />hearing required by the Landscaping and Lighting Act of 1972. <br /> <br />This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and <br />adoption. <br /> <br />U:\L & L Districts, Staff Reports\SR 06 Attach 3.doc 7 <br />
