<br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO ORDER IMPROVEMENTS, LANDSCAPE <br />ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 1984-1 (PURSUANT TO THE LANDSCAPING AND <br />LIGHTING ACT OF 1972) <br /> <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. <br /> <br />Section 2. <br /> <br />Section 3. <br /> <br />Section 4. <br /> <br />Section 5. <br /> <br />Section 6. <br /> <br />The City Council intends to levy and collect assessments within Landscape Assessment District <br />No. 1984-1 during fiscal year 2006/07. The area of land to be assessed is located in the City of <br />Pleasanton, Alameda County. <br /> <br />The improvements to be made in this assessment district are generally described as follows: <br /> <br />Maintenance of a landscaped strip north of Corte de Flores on the west side of Paseo Santa Cruz <br />and north of Corte Pacifica on the east side of Paseo Santa Cruz. <br /> <br />In accordance with this Council's resolution directing the filing of an annual report, Philip A. <br />Grubstick, Engineer of Work, has filed with the Deputy City Clerk the report required by the <br />Landscaping and Lighting Act of 1972. All interested persons are referred to that report for a <br />full and detailed description of the improvements, the boundaries of the assessments upon <br />assessable lots and parcels of land within the assessment district. <br /> <br />On Tuesday, the 18th day of July 2006, at the hour of 7:00 pm, the City Council will conduct a <br />public hearing on the question of the levy of the proposed annual assessment. The hearing will <br />be located in the City Council Chambers, 200 Old Bernal Avenue, P1easanton, California. <br /> <br />The Deputy City Clerk is authorized and directed to give the notice of hearing required by the <br />Landscaping and Lighting Act of 1972. <br /> <br />This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />U:\L & L Districts, StaffReports\SR 06 Attach l.doc <br /> <br />7 <br />
