<br />EXHIBIT A <br /> <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 06- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Pleasant on's City Council directed staff to assemble the Happy Valley <br />Blue Ribbon Committee to develop options for by-pass road alignment and funding; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Committee is geographically representative of the area that includes Happy <br />Valley Road, Alisal St., Westbridge, Sycamore Road and Sycamore Creek Way, including Laura <br />Lane, Byrd Lane and Mockingbird Way East, by either street or area; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, in addition to Council-designated members Pat Costanzo from Greenbriar Homes, <br />and Al Spotomo, the following have agreed to serve on the committee: Wes Felton, Jim Frietas, <br />Vanessa Kawaihau, Roger Manning, Bob Maund, Pete Richert, Al Schomo. Further the City <br />Council asked for three additional representatives selected by Alameda County. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOL YES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The City Council appoints the following to serve on the Happy Valley Blue <br />Ribbon Committee: <br /> <br />. Pat Costanzo <br />. Wes Felton <br />.. Jim Frietas <br />. Vanessa Kawaihau <br />. Roger Manning <br /> <br />. Bob Maund <br />. Pete Richert <br />. Al Schomo <br />. Al Spotomo <br /> <br />Alameda County will appoint their three representatives without further Council <br />action. The HVBRC is directed to develop alignment options for the By-Pass <br />Road described in the Happy Valley Specific Plan and to bring those options to the <br />City Council for further review. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />I HEREBY CERTIFY THAT THE FOREGOING WAS DULY AND REGULARLY <br />ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON, AT A MEETING <br />HELD ON JUNE 6, 2006 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br />
