CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 99-068 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO ORDER <br /> IMPROVEMENTS, LANDSCAPE ASSESSMENT DISTRICT <br /> NO. 19994-1, OAK TREE FARM (PURSUANT TO THE <br /> LANDSCAPING AND LIGHTING ACT OF 1972) <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The City Council intends to levy and collect assessments within Lighting and <br /> Landscape Assessment District No. 1994-1, Oak Tree Farm, during fiscal year <br /> 1999-00. The area of land to be assessed is located in the City of Pleasanton, <br /> Alameda County. <br /> <br />Section 2: The improvements to be made in this assessment district are generally described as <br /> follows: <br /> <br /> The maintenance and repair of designated landscaped areas, open space slopes, <br /> fuel transition zones (fire breaks), entry features, open space drainage ditches, <br /> irrigation systems, trees in the open space and designated landscape areas, and the <br /> furnishing of water and power for irrigation systems, together with all appurtenant <br /> and incidental expenses within Tract 6563 and parcels B and C of Parcel Map <br /> 6259, City of Pleasanton. <br /> <br />Section 3: In accordance with this Council's resolution directing the filing of an annual report, <br /> Roger D. Higdon, Engineer of Work, has filed with the City Clerk the report <br /> required by the Landscaping and Lighting Act of 1972. All interested persons are <br /> referred to that report for a full and detailed description of the improvements, the <br /> boundaries of the assessments upon assessable lots and parcels of land within the <br /> assessment district. <br /> <br />Section 4: On Tuesday, the 15th day of June 1999, at the hour of 7:00 p.m.., the City Council <br /> will conduct a public hearing on the question of the levy of the proposed annual <br /> assessment. The hearing will be located in the City Council Chambers, 200 Old <br /> Bemal Avenue, Pleasanton, California. <br /> <br /> <br />
