CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 99-051 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING QUITCLAIM OF CITY'S <br /> INTEREST IN CERTAIN PROPERTY LOCATED ON THE <br /> SOUTH SIDE OF DEL VALLE PARKWAY WESTERLY OF <br /> CALIFORNIA STREET <br /> <br />WHEREAS, in the early 1980's, the City approved a PUD and final map for the Stanley <br /> Business Park, a commercial development located between Stanley Boulevard and <br /> Del Valle Parkway; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, as a condition of development, the developers conveyed to the City a 0.62 acre <br /> parcel located on the south side of Del Valle Parkway westerly of Califomia <br /> Street; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the parcel was to be used as a sump in the event that the Arroyo del Valle rose to <br /> an elevation that the storm water from the subdivision would not flow by ~'avity <br /> into the Arroyo; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the FEMA maps and analysis of future storm water conditions now indicate that a <br /> sump and pump are no longer needed; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the developers, who continue to own the commercial development, have requested <br /> that the City deed the 0.62 acre parcel to them; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The City Council authorizes the City Manager to sign, and the City Clerk to <br /> record, a quitclaim deed of the 0.62 acre parcel to the adjacent property owner, <br /> quitclaiming the City's interest therein. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
