CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 99-045 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING FILING OF AN <br />APPLICATION WITH THE METROPOLITAN <br />TRANSPORTATION COMMISSION FOR ALLOCATION OF <br />TDA FUNDS FOR THE BIKE PATH PROJECT ON THE <br />ALAMO CANAL/ARROYO DE LA LAGUNA FOR FISCAL <br />YEAR 1999/2000 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Transportation Commission (MTC) requires a resolution of <br /> support for Transportation Development Act (TDA) applications; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, City staff, together with bicycle advisory committee members, have reviewed <br /> various bike path projects; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Alamo Canal/Arroyo de la Laguna bike path project will assist pedestrian and <br /> bicycle travel; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this project is categorically exempt under the requirements of CEQA. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: <br /> <br />The Pleasanton City Council authorizes submittal of the application for the Alamo <br />Canal/Arroyo de la Laguna bike path project and subsequent submittal of claims <br />for payment. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
