CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 99-039 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE FILING OF A CLAIM <br /> WITH THE METROPOLITAN TRANSPORTATION <br /> COMMISSION FOR ALLOCATION OF TRANSPORTATION <br /> DEVELOPMENT ACT FUNDS AND WITH ALAMEDA <br /> COUNTY FOR MEASURE B FUNDS FOR FISCAL YEAR <br /> 1999-2000 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Transportation Development Act (TDA), as amended (Public Utilities Code, <br /> Section 99200 et seq.), provides for the disbursement of funds from the Local <br /> Transportation Fund of the County of Alameda for use by eligible claimants for <br /> the purpose of community transit services; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to the provision of the TDA, as amended and pursuant to the applicable <br /> rules and regulations thereunder (21 California Administrative Code, Sections <br /> 6600 et seq.), a prospective claimant wishing to receive an allocation from the <br /> Local Transportation Fund shall file its claim with the Metropolitan Transportation <br /> Commission; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the claim proposes to continue an existing program utilizing existing equipment, <br /> manpower, and routes and proposes minor addition of services and is, therefore, <br /> considered exempt from the requirements of the California Environmental Quality <br /> Act; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, TDA funds from the Local Transportation Fund of Alameda County and Measure <br /> B funds will be required by claimant in Fiscal Year 1999-2000 for community <br /> transit services. <br /> <br /> <br />
