CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY', CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 93-137 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION REFERRING LITIGATION TO THE CITY <br /> ATTORNEY FOR APPROPRIATE ACTION TO DEFEND THE <br /> CITY <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The Summons and Complaint in the Alameda County <br /> Superior Court, Case No. V-006417-6, in the matter of <br /> Lamprey v. City of Pleasanton, served on the City on <br /> June 8, 1993, is hereby referred to the City Attorney for <br /> action as deemed necessary and appropriate to defend the <br /> City of Pleasanton, its officers, agents, and employees <br /> in said action, and the City Attorney is hereby <br /> authorized to incur expenses reasonably necessary for <br /> such purpose. <br /> <br />Section 2: The Summons and Complaint in the Alameda County <br /> Superior Court, Case No. V-007073-9, in the matter of <br /> City of Dublin v. City of Pleasanton, served on the City <br /> on September 29, 1993, is hereby referred to the City <br /> Attorney for action as deemed necessary and appropriate <br /> to defend the City of Pleasanton, its officers, agents, <br /> and employees in said action, and the City Attorney is <br /> hereby authorized to incur expenses reasonably necessary <br /> for such purpose. <br /> <br />Section 3: The Summons and Complaint in the Alameda County <br /> Superior Court, Case No. V-007026-1, in the matter of <br /> Maloney v. City of Pleasanton, served on the City on <br /> October 1, 1993, is hereby referred to the City Attorney <br /> for action as deemed necessary and appropriate to defend <br /> the City of Pleasanton, its officers, agents, and <br /> employees in said action, and the City Attorney is hereby <br /> authorized to incur expenses reasonably necessary for <br /> such purpose. <br /> <br />Section 4: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
