CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 93-132 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION <br /> FOR THE APPLICATION OF PRUDENTIAL INSURANCE <br /> COMPANY/SIGNATURE PROPERTIES A8 FILED UNDER <br /> CASE PUD-S1-30-55D <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of October 12, 1993, the City Council <br /> received a proposed negative declaration for the <br /> application of Prudential Insurance Company of <br /> America/Signature Properties for development plan <br /> approval to construct a 496-unit residential development <br /> consisting of 178 small-lot single-family detached units <br /> and 318 townhouse and condominium units proposed on an <br /> approximately 52.7 acre site (Lots 8A, 8B, and 26) <br /> located within the Hacienda Business Park; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has received and reviewed the Initial <br /> Study dated February 1, 1993 and received the <br /> recommendations of the staff and Planning Commission; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held on October 12, <br /> 1993 at which time the public was given the opportunity <br /> to comment on the environmental impacts of the proposed <br /> development plan; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the potential impacts in <br /> accordance with the applicable state and local guidelines <br /> governing the preparation of Negative Declarations and <br /> Environmental Impact Reports; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the proposed development plan <br /> would not have any significant adverse effects on the <br /> environment; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council further finds that the proposed project <br /> will have no potential for adverse impacts on the site's <br /> wildlife; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves the Negative Declaration for the application <br /> of Prudential Insurance Company/Signature Properties for <br /> development plan approval for a 496-unit residential <br /> development consisting of 178 small-lot single-family <br /> detached units and 318 townhouse units on a 52.7 acre <br /> site. <br /> <br /> <br />
