CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 93-132 RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR THE APPLICATION OF PRUDENTIAL INSURANCE COMPANY/SIGNATURE PROPERTIES A8 FILED UNDER CASE PUD-S1-30-55D WHEREAS, at its meeting of October 12, 1993, the City Council received a proposed negative declaration for the application of Prudential Insurance Company of America/Signature Properties for development plan approval to construct a 496-unit residential development consisting of 178 small-lot single-family detached units and 318 townhouse and condominium units proposed on an approximately 52.7 acre site (Lots 8A, 8B, and 26) located within the Hacienda Business Park; and WHEREAS, the City Council has received and reviewed the Initial Study dated February 1, 1993 and received the recommendations of the staff and Planning Commission; and WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held on October 12, 1993 at which time the public was given the opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts of the proposed development plan; and WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the potential impacts in accordance with the applicable state and local guidelines governing the preparation of Negative Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the proposed development plan would not have any significant adverse effects on the environment; and WHEREAS, the City Council further finds that the proposed project will have no potential for adverse impacts on the site's wildlife; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: Approves the Negative Declaration for the application of Prudential Insurance Company/Signature Properties for development plan approval for a 496-unit residential development consisting of 178 small-lot single-family detached units and 318 townhouse units on a 52.7 acre site.
