<br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 1934 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON AMENDING <br />CHAPTER 17.50 (COMMERCIAL AND CIVIC GREEN BUILDING) <br />OF THE PLEASANTON MUNICIPAL CODE TO INCORPORATE <br />"GREEN BUILDING MEASURES" FOR NEW RESIDENTIAL <br />DEVELOPMENT PROJECTS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of March 8, 2006, the Planning Commission recommended <br />that the City Council amend Chapter 17.50 (Commercial and Civic Green <br />Building) to incorporate "green building measures" for new residential <br />development projects; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of March 21, 2006, the City Council reviewed the report of <br />the Director of Planning and Community Development (SR 06:089) <br />regarding amendments to Chapter 17.50 (Commercial and Civic Green <br />Building) of the Pleasanton Municipal Code and the recommendation of the <br />Planning Commission. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES <br />HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. Chapter 17.50 ((Commercial and Civic Green Building) of the Pleasanton <br />Municipal Code is hereby amended to read as set forth in Exhibit A, <br />attached hereto and incorporated herein by this reference. <br /> <br />Section 2. A summary of this ordinance shall be published once within <br />fifteen (15) days after its adoption in 'The Valley Times," a newspaper of <br />general circulation published in the City of Pleasanton, and the complete <br />ordinance shall be posted for fifteen (IS) days in the City Clerk's office <br />within fifteen (15) days after its adoption. <br /> <br />1 <br />
