C i;j[;; Pleasanton <br /> S REPORT <br /> <br /> August 17, 1993 <br /> Assistant City Manager <br /> <br />SUBJECT: Adoption of the City Five Year Capital Improvement Program <br /> for Fiscal Years 1993/94 through 1997/98 <br /> <br />STAFF RECOMMENDATION: <br /> <br /> Staff recommends the City Council adopt one of the attached <br /> resolutions, which: <br /> <br /> Option 1. Adopts the proposed Capital Improvement Program for fiscal <br /> years 1993/94 through 1997/98 and appropriates the funding <br /> as indicated in the program to meet fiscal year 1993/94 <br /> projects. <br /> <br /> Option 2. Adopts the streets, water and sewer projects, and all lease <br /> payments, improvements to the City radio system <br /> ($1,000,000), the Harvest Park gymnasium construction <br /> ($2,700,000), and the downtown beautification improvements <br /> ($150,000) included in the miscellaneous projects program <br /> and appropriate the funding as indicated in the previously <br /> mentioned programs and projects to meet fiscal year 1993/94 <br /> expenditures. <br /> <br />SUMMARY: Each year the City adopts a Five Year Capital Improvement Program <br /> to assure that infrastructure and capital improvement needs are <br /> adequately addressed and planned. The proposed Capital <br /> Improvement Program includes $14,048,177 of funded projects for <br /> fiscal year 1993/94 and establishes a course of action to meet capital <br /> improvement needs over the next five years. <br /> <br />SR93:345 1 <br /> <br /> <br />
