CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO. 06-018 RESOLUTION MAKING APPOINTMENTS TO VARIOUS COMMISSIONS AND COMMITTEES WHEREAS, due to the expiration of various terms and/or resignations, vacancies have occurred on various Commissions and Committees; and WHEREAS, applications were received and interviews held with various individuals who are interested in serving on the commissions and/or committees and their qualifications evaluated. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section I: Nancy Scotto is reappointed as a regular member to the Civic Arts Commission, which term expires on April 30, 2010, or until such time as she is replaced. Section 2: Rick Dobbs is appointed as a member to the Economic Vitality Committee as the Software representative, which term expires on April 30, 2010, or until such time as he is replaced. Section 3: Robert Harris and Joseph Jones are reappointed as regular members to the Housing Commission, which terms expire on April 30, 2010, or until such time as they are replaced. Section 4: Kurt Wiest is reappointed as a regular member to the Housing Commission, which term expires on September 30, 2009, or until such time as he is replaced. Section 5: Judith Matthew and Valarie Arkin are appointed as regular members and Denise Fournier as an alternate member to the Library Commission, which terms expire on April 30, 2010, or until such time as they are replaced. Section 6: Jim Dibiase and Kathy Narum are reappointed as regular members to the Parks and Recreation Commission, which terms expire on April 30, 2010, or until such time as they are replaced.
