<br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 06-016 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION TO APPROVE THE FIRST QUARTER <br />2005-06 FINANCIAL REPORT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, each quarter a report of financial condition is presented to Council which includes <br />any staff recommendations for budget amendments and technical corrections or <br />actions needed; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, staff presented to Council such a report (SR:06:085) for the first quarter of the fiscal <br />year ending June 30, 2006 for the Operating Budget and Capital Improvement <br />Program and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, as a result of the first quarter financial reports, staff made recommendations as <br />outlined in that report. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Amends the Operating Budget, as outlined in Appendix A, Attachment I to: <br /> <br />a) Update the beginning 2005-06 fund balances from projected to <br />actual 2004-05 ending fund balances; and <br />b) Move the presentation of debt service payments and annual Park <br />Renovation projects from the Capital Improvement Program <br />Budget to the Operating Budget. <br /> <br />Section 2: Amends the Capital Improvement Program Budget, as outlined in Appendix <br />A, Attachment 2 to: <br /> <br />a) Update the beginning 2005-06 fund balances from projected to <br />actual 2004-05 ending fund balances; <br />b) Move the presentation of debt service payments and annual Park <br />Renovation projects from the Capital Improvement Program <br />Budget to the Operating Budget; and <br />c) Make minor amendments as recommended by staff. <br />
