Page 2 of2

Vineyard. I live on Pietronave Lane, and I believe I speak for the future residents of Pietronave Lane whom I
believe will be constructing three properties on the lane during the proposed diversion period.

The current physical layout of the junction between new Vineyard and Old Vineyard I Pietronave Lane, when
combined with the increased traffic flows along Vineyard make me greatly concerned for the safety of anyone
attempting to exit Pietronave Lane if the proposed diversion is to commence at Pietronave. I urge the Council to
consider other alternatives, or best yet in my opinion, take the time that is required and simply leave the traffic on
new Vineyard.

I believe this view to reinforced by the fact that construction traffic working on the numerous plots under
construction along the Vineyard corridor uses Old Vineyard to shuttle back and forth between plots. If this
construction traffic is merged with regular vehicular flow then I believe further danger will be created.

Thank you for your attention to my concems.

Regards
Colin Proudfoot

3/20/2006
