CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 93-90 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> PLEASANTON PROVIDING FOR THE ISSUANCE OF CITY OF <br /> PLEASANTON LIMITED OBLIGATION REFUNDING BONDS, <br /> CONSOLIDATED REASSESSMENT DISTRICT 1993-1; <br /> PRESCRIBING THE DATE AND FORM OF SAID BONDS AND <br /> PRESCRIBING THE REDEMPTION PROVISIONS THEREFOR; <br /> AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF SAID BONDS; PROVIDING <br /> FOR THE COLLECTION OF REASSESSMENTS TO PAY THE <br /> PRINCIPAL OF AND INTEREST ON SAID BONDS; AND <br /> APPROVING THE SALE OF SAID BONDS (WHICH <br /> ESTABLISHES THE MATURITIES OF AND INTEREST RATES <br /> ON SAID BONDS) <br /> <br /> (Consolidated Reassessment District No. 1993-1) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Pleasanton <br />(the "City"), by proceedings duly had and taken, duly provided <br />for the issuance of the eight (8) separate series of special <br />assessment improvement bonds listed in Exhibit A to this <br />resolution (the "Original Bonds") under and pursuant to the <br />conditions and terms of the Improvement Bond Act of 1915, being <br />Division 10 of the California Streets and Highways Code (the <br />"1915 Act"), the unmatured portion of which is now outstanding; <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this City Council has determined to issue <br />refunding bonds (the "Refunding Bonds") for the purpose of <br />refunding the unmatured portion of the Original Bonds now <br />outstanding under and pursuant to the conditions and terms of the <br />Refunding Act of 1984 for 1915 Improvement Act Bonds, being <br />Division 11.5 of the California Streets and Highways Code (the <br />"1984 Act"), and to provide for the levy and collection of <br />reassessments as security for the Refunding Bonds; and <br /> <br />SF2-18846.1 <br /> <br /> <br />
