<br />r <br /> <br /> <br />6D <br /> <br />'- <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />pLEASANTONo <br /> <br />City Council <br />Staff Report <br /> <br />March 21, 2006 <br />Planning Department <br /> <br />SUBJECT <br />APPLICANT: <br /> <br />PRZ-13, Residential Green Building Ordinance <br /> <br />City of Pleasant on <br /> <br />PROPERTY OWNER: <br /> <br />City of Pleasant on <br /> <br />PURPOSE: <br /> <br />Consideration of amendments to Chapter 17.50 of the <br />Pleasanton Municipal Code incorporating "green building <br />measures" for new residential development projects. <br /> <br />LOCATION: <br /> <br />Citywide <br /> <br />GENERAL PLAN: <br /> <br />All Residential land use designations <br /> <br />ZONING: <br /> <br />All residential zoning districts within the City limits <br /> <br />PLANNING COMMISSION ACTION: <br /> <br />At its meeting on March 8, 2006, the Planning Commission voted unanimously to <br />recommend, with minor modifications, that the City Council approve Case PRZ-13 <br />amending the Municipal Code to incorporate "green building measures" for new <br />residential development projects. <br /> <br />STAFF RECOMMENDATION: <br /> <br />Staff recommends that the City Council take the following actions: <br /> <br />1. Find that the proposed amendment to the Municipal Code is statutorily exempt <br />from CEQA; and <br /> <br />2.
