<br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br /> <br />FIRST QUARTER 2005-06 FINANCIAL REPORT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, each quarter a report of financial condition is presented to Council <br />which includes any staff recommendations for budget amendments and <br />technical corrections or actions needed; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, staff presented to Council such a report (SR:05:085) for the first quarter <br />of the fiscal year ending June 30, 2006 for the Operating Budget and <br />Capital Improvement Program and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, as a result of the first quarter financial reports, staff made <br />recommendations as outlined in that report. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Amend the Operating Budget, as outlined in Appendix A Attachment 1 <br />to: <br /> <br />a) Update the beginning 2005-06 fund balances from <br />projected to actual 2004-05 ending fund balances; <br />and <br />b) Move the presentation of debt service payments and <br />annual Park Renovation projects from the Capital <br />Improvement Program budget to the Operating <br />Budget. <br /> <br />Section 2: Amend the Capital Improvement Program Budget, as outlined in <br />Appendix A Attachment 2 to: <br /> <br />a) Update the beginning 2005-06 fund balances from <br />projected to actual 2004-05 ending fund balances; <br />and <br />b) Move the presentation of debt service payments and <br />annual Park Renovation projects from the Capital <br />Improvement Program budget to the Operating <br />Budget. <br />c) Make minor amendments as recommended by staff. <br /> <br />A-I <br />
