FOR SANTOS RANCH ROAD PUMP <br />STATIONS AND WATER FACILITIES UPGRADE, PROJECT NO. <br />991035 <br />STAFF RECOMMENDATION: <br />Staff recommends that the City Council take the following action at the <br />meeting of March 21, 2006: <br />1. Approve the contract with Tetra Tech Inc. to provide necessary <br />construction management services in an amount not to exceed <br />$267,295 for the subject project. <br />2. Authorize the City Manager to execute the attached subject contract. <br />SUMMARY: On January 17`", 2006, the City of Pleasanton awarded a construction <br />contract to McGuire and Hester of Oakland, California for the <br />rehabilitation of three water - booster pumping stations located along Santos <br />Ranch Road westerly of Foothill Road, including the replacement of an <br />existing 20,000 gallon water tank, pumps, and mechanical and electrical <br />controls. The City solicited proposals from five interested firms to <br />oversee the construction management for the Santos Ranch Road Pump <br />Stations and Water Facilities Upgrade Project. Based on staff's evaluation <br />of proposals received, it is recommended that Tetra Tech Inc. be selected <br />to provide the construction management services for this project. <br />SR 06:070 <br />Page 1 of 4 <br />
