CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 93-45 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE FILING OF A CLAIM WITH THE METROPOLITAN TRANSPORTATION COMMISSION FOR ALLOCATION OF TRANSPORTATION DEVELOPMENT ACT FUNDS AND WITH ALAMEDA COUNTY FOR MEASURE B FUNDS FOR FISCAL YEAR 1993-94 WHEREAS, the Transportation Development Act (TDA), as amended (Public Utilities Code, Sections 99200, et seq.), provides for the disbursement of funds from the Local Transportation Fund of the County of Alameda for use by eligible claimants for the purpose of community transit services of Pleasanton residents; and WHEREAS, pursuant to the provision of the TDA, as amended and pursuant to the applicable rules and regulations thereunder (21 California Administrative Code, Sections 6600, et seq.), a prospective claimant wishing to receive an allocation from the Local Transportation Fund shall file its claim with the Metropolitan Transportation Commission; and WHEREAS, the claim proposes to continue an existing program utilizing existing equipment, manpower, and routes and proposes minor addition of services and is, therefore, considered exempt from the requirement of the California Environmental Quality Act; and WHEREAS, TDA funds from the Local Transportation Fund of Alameda County and Measure B funds will be required by claimant in Fiscal Year 1993-94 for community transit services; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: Dolores Bengtson, Director of Parks and Community Services, is authorized to execute and file an appropriate claim pursuant to the terms of the Transportation Development Act, as amended, and pursuant to applicable rules and regulations promulgated thereunder, together with all necessary supporting documents, with the Metropolitan Transportation Commission and the Alameda County Board of Supervisors for an allocation of TDA and Measure B funds in Fiscal Year 1993-94.
