CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 93-39 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION REFERRING LITIG&TION TO CITY <br />~TTORNEY FOR APPROPRIATE ~CTION TO DEFEND THE <br />CITY <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section %: The Summons and Complaint in the Alameda County <br /> Superior Court, Case No. V-005946-4, in the matter of <br /> Beverly Montgomery v. Alameda County Agricultural <br /> Association, et al., served on the City on March 11, <br /> 1993, is hereby referred to the City Attorney for action <br /> as deemed necessary and appropriate to defend the city of <br /> Pleasanton, its officers, agents, and employees in said <br /> action, and the City Attorney is hereby authorized to <br /> incur expenses reasonably necessary for such purpose. <br /> <br />Section 2: The Summons and Complaint in the Municipal Court of <br /> Alameda County, Case No. C-25129, in the matter of <br /> Charles Roehria v. Housina Authority. et al., served on <br /> the City on February 25, 1993, is hereby referred to the <br /> City Attorney for action as deemed necessary and <br /> appropriate to defend the City of Pleasanton, its <br /> officers, agents, and employees in said action, and the <br /> City Attorney is hereby authorized to incur expenses <br /> reasonably necessary for such purpose. <br /> <br />Section 3: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> I HEREBY CERTIFY THAT THE FOREGOING WAS DULY AND <br />REGULARLY ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON, AT <br />A MEETING HELD ON APRIL 6, 1993 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: <br /> <br />Councilmembers - Dennis, Mohr, Pico, Scribner, and Mayor <br /> <br /> Tarver <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None. <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br />APPROVED AS TO FORM:. <br /> <br />Michael H.
